Dr. Michael Mah graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2002, where he was placed first in his final examinations and was awarded the University Bronze Medal. Following this, Dr. Mah pursued three years of specialized training in orthodontics at the same university. After completing his training, he served as a Consultant at the National University Hospital Dental Centre and as an Assistant Professor with the Discipline of Orthodontics at the National University of Singapore, where he contributed to both Undergraduate and Postgraduate Orthodontic training.

Dr. Mah is a Fellow of both the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Academy of Medicine of Singapore. He has also held various positions within the executive committees of the Association of Orthodontists (Singapore) and the Singapore Dental Association. Additionally, he is a Fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontists.

Dr. Mah has a passion for the application of Skeletal Anchorage in the treatment of complex malocclusions, such as Open bites, Reverse/Under bites, Gummy smiles, Impacted teeth, and Non-Extraction Treatments. Since 2010, he has been invited to speak at international and regional orthodontic congresses to share his expertise. He has also presented and published his research work internationally.

Dr. Tan Mei Wei graduated from the University of Adelaide and has been a part of Neua Dental since 2018. As a dentist who values long-term relationships with patients and their families, Dr. Tan is committed to providing personalized and compassionate care. She strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel like family, helping maintain healthy, vibrant smiles for years.

Dr. Tan has clinical experience in various aspects of general, pediatric, and aesthetic dentistry and is dedicated to offering comprehensive care for patients of all ages. She particularly enjoys working with children and aims to provide a supportive environment during dental visits. Dr. Tan is also passionate about Aesthetic dentistry, including crowns, veneers, whitening, and aesthetic restorations. She is committed to staying updated with the latest materials and techniques to improve her skills.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Tan is an enthusiastic foodie who enjoys cooking and exploring unique flavors around the world. Recently, she has embraced yoga and aims to incorporate more mindfulness into her daily routine.

Dr. Sharon Huang graduated from the University of Adelaide and has been recognised for her academic achievements throughout her degree. She was awarded the T Draper Campbell Medal and Prize for attaining the highest academic performance in Dental Science and Practice during her second year, as well as the Austin Bazeley Prize for achieving the highest marks in Oral Medicine and Oral Surgery in her final year examinations. In 2023, she was also the winner of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Paediatric Dentistry’s Louise Brearley Messer Undergraduate Essay Competition for her work on the topic, “Avulsion – should we replant teeth in the growing child?”

During university, Dr. Huang volunteered with the Cambodia World Family Dental Clinic, providing dental treatment and care for underprivileged children in the local community. This experience further strengthened her passion for paediatric and community-focused dental care.

Following graduation, Dr. Huang gained valuable clinical experience working as a Dental Officer at the Adelaide Dental Hospital, as well as in private practices across regional South Australia and the Adelaide suburbs. These experiences have allowed her to provide care to patients of all ages and backgrounds, with a strong focus on delivering gentle, personalised treatment.

Dr. Huang is passionate about preventative, aesthetic, and paediatric dentistry. She believes in creating a positive and comfortable dental experience for every patient, especially those with dental anxiety. With a warm and patient-centred approach, she takes the time to guide patients through every step of their treatment journey, helping them feel informed, reassured and confident in their dental care.

Ms. Nikkie Ong oversees daily operations at Neua Dental. With a background in engineering, she supports coordination across clinic services and administrative processes.

She facilitates communication between patients and the clinic team and contributes to service planning and workflow improvement. Ms. Ong also gathers patient input to support operational enhancements where appropriate.
